Day Off

Its quite nice to have a day to yourself. Today, I woke up late, tried a new restaurant, had my hair done and did some shopping.

I tried Father Damaso at greenbelt 5 and ordered the filato and some organic rice. Hmm..not quite as I expected because the filato apparently meant breaded pork chop ^_^ I should have tried something a bit different, but still, quite a nice lunch. While I waited for my food to come, I read a bit of Emma, a novel by Jane Austen, people watched a bit, and some browsing on the internet.

I went to Studio Fix by Alex Carbonel afterwards. A friend of mine had recommended this place to me and thought this was the right time to try it out. The place is at the 4th floor of Greenbelt 5. The staff seemed pretty nice. They were a bit more discrete than other places in offering their products. They just placed the products in front of me, sort of like a silent advert, while they were doing my hair and just referred to it seemingly randomly. Even the way they pointed to the product was discrete because they sort of puckered their lips towards the products when they talked about it. But good thing was they weren't pushy about them and sort of just let it go when I did not show any interest on the product.

Afterwards, did a bit of shopping and just looking around. Capped the day off with going home and having a nice long shower, a tall glass of chocolate milk and I am ready to hit the pillows.
